Abstract :
Conflict is the part of social world in which individuals and interest groups struggle to get basic needs. One terrible problem may occur in the form of violent conflict. This conflict is a situation created by various type of intention such as greedy, hatred, and retaliation that worsen any dimension of conflict. A violent conflict will not bear a transcend condition in which conflicting parties can formulate a problem solving. Conflict and peace studies are always in an endeavor to understand how conflict is followed by violence which it is specifically known as conflict management study. This paper aims to elaborate how the form of conflict management institution can transform violent conflict into peace situation by taking separatism conflict in Aceh during 1976-2008.
